Beautiful accommodation, very comfortable and clean, fully consistent with the photos. Very calm place. The cottage is perfectly located in the region between La Rochelle and Rochefort, without being in the crowds of the seaside.
The reception is perfect with the various possibilities of visits in the region, adapted to our desires and our constraints (1 young child).

We spent a very good week in the gite of "the growing forest".

The cottage is very functionally furnished and you don't miss anything. We appreciated the quality of all the equipment including kitchen utensils and appliances, everything is top of the range. Special mention for the bluetooth audio system :)
The view of the garden is pleasant, but we were mainly there to take advantage of the surrounding outings, so we did not exploit its potential.

Accommodation perfectly located in a green and inspiring setting, close to the main places to visit in the region.
We were perfectly guided by Bertrand for our visits and made some great discoveries that enchanted our trip.
The accommodation is very well equipped: it has beautiful rooms and all the necessary comforts (dishwasher, ovens, induction hob, comfortable bedding, audio system, games for children, books, etc.) with special mention for the washing machine which allows you to leave with clean laundry.
The icing on the cake: the video projector and the collection of DVDs made available made our children happy for the evenings when they returned from visits.
The visit to the garden-forest with Bertrand's explanations is worth the detour.

We enjoyed our stay immensely. It is a lovely, comfortable and spacious house and the garden with terrace a beautiful place to sit. Everything was actually as we would expect, nice living room, well equipped kitchen, very nice bedroom and the also the bathroom nice and spacious and nicely decorated.
The location is also very good, made nice bike trip to La Rochelle, to the market in Rochefort, day trip to Ile d' Oleron and cycled 60 km and of course to the beach.
In short, everything perfect!

We had a very good stay in the accommodation, thanks to Bertrand for all the little information and everything.
the accommodation is very good, the bedding is perfect for good restful nights! Everything was as advertised.
Negative points a strong smell of humidity in the main room and the bathroom and we had the visit of small centipedes on the walls when returning in the evening.
And also the very nice and clean outdoor space but in plain sight so no real privacy.
You should also know that the accommodation is perfectly placed to visit a lot of things. We enjoyed our stay.
We entered the accommodation as soon as you left. After months of heat wave, it is dry. The recent rain may have influenced your perception as much with the terracotta floor.
The two extraction VMC in the bathroom seem sufficient to us. One is permanent, the other only during the shower + 10min.
We also noticed that the windows of your gite remained open despite the rain during your stay.
In the countryside when it rains, some visitors go inside to take shelter. You must have encountered the Scutigera swift.
It regulates wasps and spiders. Nothing to fear if you don't seek to capture it.
Our pesticide-free ecological approach brings a certain biodiversity, especially when you keep the windows open. She returns.

We weren't able to enjoy the garden because of the weather, that's the only regret of our stay.
